Fun Things Are Happening Around Here
Mostly Organized Dispatch
Holy Moly!
Lots of fun things are happening at the Mostly Organized HQ!
🍁 Provincial Archives of Alberta
Today, our group of Professional Organizers had an amazing 2-hour tour of the Provincial Archives of Alberta. This event, planned by yours truly as part of our Field Trip Series, was very informative as we continue to learn about a variety of decluttering topics.
We saw the reading room, where researchers can consult records. We toured a couple of vaults where documents are stored, and we spoke with archivists, conservationists, and technicians who handle these materials, take inventory, catalogue them, and, of course, preserve them.
The most fascinating thing was that the PAA preserve all kinds of records, not only for well-known or “important” people. So if you or a family member has a collection of personal records, see what you can donate or how you can better preserve your records. A big thank you to the team at PAA for their time and commitment.
🍁 Time Management Workshop
I was excited to share a few of my trusted time-management tips and tricks during a workshop in September.
My fellow alumni at the International Olympic Academy Participants Association were hosting this event.
If your organization or group is interested, I’d be happy to present again.
🍁 REMINDER - We’re Having a Book Sale! - October 4th
I’m getting excited for our Franco Used Book Sale. You can find all the details here. Otherwise, we hope to see you on October 4th at La Coupe Hair Studio.
